But before heading under the bright lights and speakers we took a quick trip through town with East LA locals Adrian Morales, Carlos Calindo, Angel Valentin and Steven Lozano.
They show us a few of their hangouts and before heading over to shred Paul's park to learn some new tricks.
A note to those crews looking to tell their story: don't be afraid to get on camera and let us hear from you. We want to get to know you, and so will P-Rod and the rest of the Nike team if they plan on helping you get to Europe.
